Holly's Circle Dance Video when she was 3 weeks old
I wanted to show this little clip to a friend, so I thought I'd just post it. It still makes me giggle.
Holly is so little here! Where did the time go?!

Digital Scrapbooking

Can I just say... I don't think I will ever do regular scrapbooking again!
I always had trouble wanting to get all my scrapbooking stuff out, knowing the mess I would make and have to clean back up before the next meal. So, needless to say, I am way behind.
I won't have to stock up on special paper, glue dots, coordinating stickers, rub-ons, or make sure I have all the right photos developed, blah blah blah... Now, I can sit with my laptop and make a page or three, with no mess for me to clean up or my girls to get into. It's the greatest thing!
shabbyprincess.com has a lot of great digital kits that are free! pureprintdesigns.com print your 12X12 pages for $2.25. I use photoshop to put it all together. It's so easy!

How to get a Family Christmas Photo!?
First, add kids. You can't go wrong!
Love 'em up, and get them ready to look oh so happy for the Picture!
Set up the tripod and turn on the timer. Then get a few 'practice' photos...
Then, try not to fall off the Chair before the timer goes off
(caught Dennis on film).
Lastly, quickly use photoshop, and get them in the mail on December 24th.

First little snow of the season
On November 7th we got just enough to snow to play a little and make a snowman. So, while Holly napped, Ivy and got out our new winter clothes and hurried outside! Going outside to play was actually Ivy's idea. We threw the snow, made snow balls, looked at our tracks, walked around the yard and even made Ivy's first snow angel and first snowman. She loved it! For the snowman we used what was left over fom summer for his features. Green Tomatoes for his eyes, an old bottle of bubbles for his nose, a spraypaint can lid for his hat and the last of the grape tomates for his mouth. We had lots of fun. Now we are ready for a little more snow!
